This is a sleepy entry. I think I’m going to go to bed before 5 AM for once. Bye bye insomnia.
I spent the afternoon at KLCC with some MMU girlies and we caught the new Jackie Chan movie - The Myth. Is it any good? Well it’s as good as a Jackie Chan movie can get.. :P Expect plenty of action, some lovey-dovey scenes, a bit of comedy, and truckloads of cheesy 3D animation. :P
Dinner was at Sunway Pyramid with Subang folks… Paulyn is back from the UK for a while, it’s good to see her again. Lots of catching up and sampat-ing to do. Haha. :)
After that it was off to a mamak session at Ajimal. The occasion was to get together for Bernard’s 23rd birthday. :D It was raining and misty and all… How romantic eh? LoL Okie not really. But yeah. At Ajimal, we did what we always do best - eat, and snap pictures. Ahahah.
I’m absolutely drooling over this handphone… Ahhhh! Too bad it’s not real. IIt’s just a combo of SonyEricsson’s W800i and Samsung D730. Credits to some online person named ‘Meilow’ for a Photoshop job well done. Sighy.

It’s perfect! SE W800i’s Walkman features + Samsung D730’s sleek clamshell design

A great portion of my 21 years has been devoted to sitting in front of the television. Yesh, I’m a regular couch potato and proud of it too, all right? :P Some may call it the Idiot Box, but I beg to differ. There’s just so much you can learn from watching the programmes that the TV has to offer…
For instance, Malaysian Idol.
You don’t have to be the best singer to win a singing competition - especially one that’s screened on TV. You just have to dominate the popularity aspect, and let the voters do the rest. ;) The recipe goes something like this - beaming boyish smile, floppy hair, heartmelting mushy love songs, boyband-ish pose while playing the guitar/piano… and a genuine enthusiasm for performing. Nita, with her 8 years of singing experience, probably should’ve won, yeah. But Daniel doesn’t deserve the title any less.. He clearly had the bigger (girl)fanbase. He’s liked by a lot of people, who want to see him week after week. And when it comes down to it, that’s what this show is all about, I guess - looking for something that sells to the masses. :P Marketing and Advertising 101.
What about One Tree Hill?
I don’t bother to follow that many series as religiously as I do with this one. Okie, so at first it was all about Chad Michael Murray’s blonde hair+blue eyes hotness. :D But having finished the second season, I figured that the recurring theme of the show is - of people going away, and how the people who get left behind cope with it. ‘Sometimes they come back.’ It sounds like a tagline for some B-rate horror movie, no? ;) Haha but seriously, that’s the one thing that the characters have left to hold onto.. To hope for something that may never return, the journey’s worthwhile in the end when you see the changes in yourself as you take each bend in the road. Life Lesson #78. :)
And the greatest lesson, from Queer Eye For The Straight Guy.
“There is no ‘I’ in team.
“… There’s ‘M’ and ‘E’ though.”
Quoted from the ever-witty Carson Kressley. ;)
By the way.
To those who have left messages here proclaiming their love for either Edison Chen or Rain - sorry but this blog is IN NO WAY affiliated to these two yummylicious celebrities. LoL I’m just a normal fangirl like the rest of you. But err, thanks anyway for dropping by… Umm yeah. :X Haha.

I appreciate every comment I received in the previous post about shutting down this site… Thanks so much. :) I can’t say that I’ve completely made up my mind yet… In the meantime I’ll continue updating, just coz I’m still not sure which way I wanna go, and I need to get busy with lots of other things, so I’ll let this be as it is right now. :P Now on to the main parts of the program..
Doesn’t this look so superbly yummy?! Wonka Chocolate, all the way from UK. Thankyouuu Ian! :)
First time… working a proper job
A couple of weeks ago, I was a promoter for DiGi for 4 days at Low Yat Plaza. It turned out to be pretty fun, even with the long hours and nonstop standing around. Earning some extra pocket money is always a good motivation. ;) And Mr Ex-Boyfriend dropped by to say hi. Honestly it took me a second longer than necessary to recognize him.. new hair and all. Whoops. Can’t blame me though, it’s been a long while! Hrmm.
First time… being mistaken for a Pan Asian
Hahaha okie this is a funny one. One of my colleagues at DiGi asked if I was of mixed parentage and I went, “Uhh, do I look like I’m mixed?” His reply was, “Yeah, I thought you have some Caucasian blood in you.” That got me laughing! I’m 100% Chinese and I definitely look like it. Can’t escape my small oriental eyes, ya know? Ahahah. ;) This is the first and last time, I’m sure..
First time… at Ladies Night
Strange but true, I’ve never been to a club on their Ladies Night before until last week.. And it was at RUSH, of all places. Hehe trust me, I have no love for this particular club.. And yet I keep going back there. Why? Coz there are plenty of other people who enjoy clubbing at Rush, and my friends are included. Oh well, if you can’t beat ‘em… :) Anyway my very first Ladies Night was all right. There were free drinks but I preferred the bottle of Bacardi that we opened at our table. :P And besides, the bar ran out of liquor soon enough and they began serving ladies freeflow of… Coke and soda water. LoL It’s nice to club with people who actually get up and dance. Rush always plays good music, I have to say, but it’s not cool when the deejay keeps talking in between songs, and also sing along while the songs are playing! Hmph.
Lastly… in and out of the house
I haven’t been at home much. Been seeing the Mamak Gang at (where else) the mamaks, especially at the newly discovered ABC (which stands for Always Best Choice.. LoL) at Desa Petaling. Caught the movie Dukes Of Hazzard with MMU friends, and Jessica Simpson was actually tolerable in it. The flick’s a fun ride all the way, but just leave your brains outside before sitting down. :P Karaoke session at Red Box with the high school group was a laugh.. everyone sang/shouted their lungs out, and we went walking around Ikea after. That was a tiring day, but it makes for a good night’s sleep. In and out, out and in.. On and on it goes… here’s to more outings to come. Woots!
