bright and beautifulPosted on Tue, December 27th, 2005 @ 3:50 am
Christmas eve celebration was a mixture of the conventional and the not-quite-expected.
A dinner of bak kut teh.
Getting sprayed with foam at the countdown at Bintang Walk.
And then a hilarious DotA session with Raymond, Ian, Sabrina, Shen Yee, Terence, and Ivan.
Thanks guys, it was a fun night. :P
And thank you for an awesome Christmas day.
:)
Wheee. I got a little Christmas souvenir too… Honestly it was actually my first time seeing this thing. LoL

It’s a bottle stopper from the Chivas we had at Q-Bar.. hehe ;)
I wonder what’s in store for New Year’s this coming weekend. Hrmmm. Oh, and doesn’t it seem like 2005 whizzed by us, just like that? It’s been a calm year, I have to say… thank goodness. Okies I need to catch up on lost sleep now, so nighty night. *waves sleepily*

have yourself a merry little christmasPosted on Thu, December 22nd, 2005 @ 7:30 pm
Just because there’s no class on Fridays, just about every other Thursday has turned into Clubbing Night. Haha geez. But last Thursday we actually partied for a cause - and that was to celebrate Eng Seen’s 21st birthday. :D How momentous the occasion was, so much so that we went to 3 different clubs that night..!
From Espanda Garden (where we watched the Fresh Faces event), to Zouk (coz someone was able to get all 11 of us in for free)… and finally we settled at Rush. Hope the birthday boy had a good time, even with all the drama that came up along the way… And I still owe him 5 seconds’ worth of Chivas. Maybe he’ll forget about it. *crosses fingers*

So there was one day when we had nothing to do in class and insead of flopping over dead from boredom, we decided to…. have an impromptu photo session! And in a case of weird coincidence, a few of us had gotten new haircuts at the same weekend. So all the more reason to take pictures, rite? Ahahah. :)

New Haircuts 1
Me and my ex-housemate Jeen! <3 I miss playing DotA with this girl. :D

New Haircuts 2
Me and another ex-housemate Edison! <3 But what's with the LC (stuck-up) face?? 3
And here are a couple of other miscellaneous photos…

Too many early breakfasts of Bak Kut Teh with too little sleep the night before. ;(

My new phone, the Sony Ericsson Z520i. I’ve christened her ‘Zoe’. If you think that’s a weird name for a phone, wait till you see my housemate’s ‘Char Siew Pau’. :P

I miss her the most when I’m away from home on weekdays… but shhh don’t tell the rest of my family that!
On an ending note - Fort Minor rawks. I’ve uploaded their song Petrified for you, so go get it. Wheee. :)
P.S. Happy 23rd birthday to Ivan who didn’t quite make it to heaven at Poppy Garden last Saturday. Still, good try. ;) Haha.

You know… Sometimes I think that the two things that us girls do best are,
to be hurt by people and to inflict hurt upon others.

Anywayyy. This morning I actually hoisted myself up from bed to have brunch with Newbie and ChuanTong, after they had a jogging session at Bukit Jalil. How healthy of me… :P Of course it’d be healthier still if I’d gone along for the jogging. Heh heh. Newbie did ask me when I saw him and a bunch of other TOA graduates on Saturday night. The conversation went something like this..
Newbie: Wanna go for jogging tomorrow?
me: Hahahaha… what?!
Newbie: Hey. I’m being serious here.
me: Craziness. What time?
Newbie: Eight.
me: Eight… PM?
Newbie: (laughs) (gives up)
Let’s take it one extreme at a time, okie? I think I’m allergic to exercise. *nod nod* And you have to know, that on any usual Sunday I’m the sleeping dead who does not stir until lunchtime comes around. So yes, this Sunday has been a very special one. Oh, CT and I got to see Newbie’s new house that sits on top of a hill and there’s a fantastic view of the entire Puchong town from there. :) All in all it was nice to get to meet up with these crazy folks again after a looong time. You seriously can’t find a group more genuinely friendly than them!
The next entry will come with some pictures. So stay tuned for that. In the meantime I need to get back to pretending to be a marketing student and work on my !@$#$% situation analysis assignment. ;( Byeee.
