so keep breathing

Today was relaxing! Though it’s weird how I manage to still spend an entire day with MMU people when I’m back home at Subang for the weekend. Like, shouldn’t we be sick of seeing each other every day of the week, rite? ;)

The day started with lunch with Seen, Ed, and LeeChuan that was scheduled to be at 2pm but not surprisingly ended up being 4pm. Punctuality is not one of their strengths, aye. Anywayyyy it was raining like crazy and we settled to eat at Sunway Pyramid since Ed needed to collect movie tickets from the cinema there. After feeding ourselves, we headed to LC’s apartment to help him shift his stuff from his current bedroom to the middle room which was bigger. Haha honestly I didn’t help much coz the 3 guys got it handled so well that it was done in 15 minutes. :P Once the moving business was out of the way, Seen and LC promptly sprawled themselves on the mattress they dragged out to the living room and dozed off. Zzz. Ed and I decided to watch a dvd and he picked… Infernal Affairs II! It was fine with me - 2 hours of seeing Edison Chen onscreen, yayy. :D Ahahah.

So the evening passed us by like a gentle stream… Curling up in the comfy Ikea sofa with the aircond turned on, watching the movie and eating ice cream… It was fun. :) And y’know, I always believe that life doesn’t have to be super exciting and going at 200km/h in order to be enjoyable. The simplest things are great too. I got home at 9pm and not too long after that I was out again, this time for drinks with my MMU housemates, LipYong and Raphael. Raph’s girlfriend, Mimi came along too. We hung out at Naili’s Place at Taipan, which I frequent on a weekly basis right now. It’s got a mellow environment that I really like. :)

Ooh I guess I should mention February 14th in some way. Hehe. I didn’t exactly celebrate Valentine’s Day this year, but I had fun on that Tuesday night anyway. Dinner was at 1am.. eeks.. and later we hopped into Ed’s car and made our way to KLIA. We seem to be visiting the airport really often, without carrying any luggages and air tickets with us. LoL Hmm. Seen got bored during the drive there and proceeded with his favourite hobby - getting friendly and frisky with the guys, right there in the car. Eesh. And thus ensued lotsa poking and groping, yelling and laughing. Guys are SO weird like that. *rolls eyes* It’s lucky that I’m spared coz I’m a girl and Seen prefers to keep his victims all-male. *whew* Haha. We had our usual Burger King at the 24-hour KLIA outlet.. talked a whole truckful of crap.. walked around.. laughed at a random stranger who resembled our friend Ah Lock.. It was past 6am when we finally reached back to Sri Kembangan, blehs. :P

Seen got sick the next day and scared us all when we heard that he had blood in his vomit. Omg. Thankfully he’s been to the clinic and he’s a lot better now. But the doctor did tell him not to drink anymore, at least for the time being. Haha the horror! But at least Seen is still allowed to smoke… LoL My lifestyle isn’t very healthy, but Seen’s is like ten times more extreme than mine. Do take care, boy!

Hmm I’ll let you readers in on something - this week was actually a horrible, torturing, and moody one for me, especially on the emotional side. Bet it didn’t sound like it, huh? :) I got a lot of people worried and I felt bad about that.. Someone suggested that I try being optimistic, but I guess I’ve always preferred to be realistic. Oh well. Among other things, I’m in the midst of trying to patch up an important friendship that’s slowly disintegrating. After today, hopefully things will have improved. *crosses fingers and toes* I’m tired of crying myself to sleep…

Oh right. LC was asking where I wanted to celebrate my birthday this year, coz apparently he’s been appointed by the others to organize the whole thing. LoL I’m touched really, but… my birthday is in APRIL?! I suppose my birthday is the next in line though, the rest would be having their birthdays in May, June, July and onward. Hrmm. Any suggestions, anyone? I told LC “NO MORE ALCOHOL”, and I mean it. :P It’s not fun to be drunk and sleeping on the club’s sofa while the rest of your friends carry on celebrating without you, which was what happened last year on my 21st birthday. Plus I was hiccuping like a true drunkard on the way back, and my friends have yet to stop laughing at me about that till now. -_-”

Absolut Raspberri comes in a pretty shade of red, but it’s not just very drink-able as far as vodkas go… Ick. Too sweet.

First day back to classes and we’ve already had a drinking night. That’s what you get for having alcoholic friends… haha. :P And oye! I actually got chided for wanting mixer to go along with the liquor - “we drink neat,” boast my alco-pro friends. Well I’m sorry but I’m an alco-n00b, okie? :D Heh heh. The worst thing about drinking on a Monday night is probably having to drag yourself out of bed for class at 9.30 AM the next day. Blehs. *shows bleary face*

Gambling seems to be something you can’t escape from during Chinese New Year. Terence played host to a gambling session last weekend, and it was pretty fun with the MG folks and a couple of other people. I started out with RM1, and by the end of the night I had like RM25. Not too bad, rite? :)

It has now come down to the final semester of my final year. It is thus time - to work hard! And also to play harder, of course. ;) Studying life is something I won’t be able to go back to once I graduate in about 4 months’ time… for better or worse. Eep.
