say goodbyePosted on Mon, September 25th, 2006 @ 11:48 pm
New song alert!~
Yup, if you take a peek at the top of the sidebar on your left, you’d notice a new mp3 for, as always, your downloading pleasure. :D
I’m totally crushing on this song. :) Maybe it’s the early 90’s pop feel, maybe it’s the fact that it features my favourite New Kid On The Block <3... or maybe it's just a really nice, easy on the ears kind of tune that you can listen to, anytime anywhere. I like the lyrics too..
Jordan Knight & Deborah Gibson - Say Goodbye
(Jordan)
Yeah
I’ve been so lost lately
I don’t really understand baby
Where did I go wrong
I wanna talk to you
Please call
(Deborah)
Where do I begin with you
after all that we’ve been through
I don’t think that it would be right if we
got together so suddenly
(Jordan)
I wish that I could take back all of the things that I said
and replace them with simply I love you instead
(Deborah)
You don’t wanna say goodbye
But you never really seem like you wanna try
(Jordan)
But I only wanted you to stay
then I let you just slip away
(Deborah)
If you didn’t listen to your heart inside
then it really doesn’t matter what was on your mind
and if you need me then tell me why
(Jordan)
Girl, I never meant to say goodbye
(Jordan)
I think about the past baby
Why we couldn’t make it last, lady
I know you still have doubts
But I’m gonna prove that we can work things out
(Deborah)
I wanna be sure that you know what you put me through
and reveal that you intend to never let me down again
(Jordan)
It’s clear to me and I can’t ignore
that I have to give you something I couldn’t before
(Deborah)
I didn’t think that we would come to this
(Jordan)
Ooh, no
Your eyes, your face, your smile is what I miss
(Deborah)
Why’d you wait so long to take me back
(Deborah & Jordan)
It’s all a simple misunderstanding
(Deborah)
You don’t wanna say goodbye
But you never really seem like you wanna try (But I never meant to say)
(Jordan)
But I only wanted you to stay
then I let you just slip away
(Deborah)
If you didn’t listen to your heart inside (Never meant to see you cry, never meant to say)
then it really doesn’t matter what was on your mind
and if you need me then tell me why
(Jordan)
Girl, I never meant to say goodbye

the wicker manPosted on Mon, September 25th, 2006 @ 1:25 pm
If you love yourself and your sanity, even just the slightest bit,
THEN PLEASE DON’T WATCH NICHOLAS CAGE’S LATEST MOVIE - THE WICKER MAN.
It’s a very odd, misleading, slow-moving piece of 2-hour fluff with a lousy ending. Even the presences of Nic Cage and LeeLee Sobieski couldn’t help much. :(
Thank goodness the tickets were free. Hrmph.

monkey businessPosted on Thu, September 21st, 2006 @ 12:51 am
A week ago on a Tuesday night, I headed down to Klang with LeeChuan and EngSeen, just for the heck of it. LoL And yeah okie, Seen needed to pass some stuff to someone in Klang too. So off we went, and as everyone’s favourite monkey boy - err, EngSeen that is - was in the car, you can never expect a single quiet moment. :P
At one point, Seen was fidgeting in the passenger seat, laughing and going, “Wo ke yi la handbrake mar? (Can I pull the handbrake?)”
LC who was behind the steering wheel, whipped his head to stare at Seen. I was lounging lazily at the back seat, but I instantly perked up when Seen spoke.
Together we yelled, “HOII! NO!!”
You’d think Seen was joking, but you seriously can’t tell for sure. Coz he just might have done it… -_-”
Anyways we made it safely to Klang, met up with Ed, and decided to hang out at this cafe called Leo’s. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, like… RM2.20 for a can of Coke. :) I tried this drink called Blue Lagoon Soda which was basically Blue Curacao with a hint of peppermint. Nyums. It was nice to chill out for a couple of hours and forget about having to go to work the next day, ahahah.
I snapped pictures but they’re not of the best quality as they’re taken with my phone’s camera. My Canon A80’s screen died on me a while back and I’ve yet to get it fixed, you see. Yeah. So here we go, photos time! There’s one pictorial collage solely dedicated to EngSeen, just coz he lurves being pimped on people’s blogs! Hahaha. :P
P.S. The Terry Fox Run on Sunday with Sandy, Yip, Soo Chin, Terence, Garick, and Tinkit was fun. And a few of us went for Hartz Chicken Buffet afterwards, which kinda ruined the keeping fit effort. LoL Let’s go again for the next one, yeah? :D

on a rainy friday nightPosted on Sat, September 16th, 2006 @ 11:21 pm
I was heading home at 2 AM after an uneventful day at work, then dinner at Hartamas, and finally drinks at OUG’s Wong Kok - when I picked up a call from an old high school friend.
Hearing her tear-stained voice, I forgot about being tired and discarded dreams of curling under my comfy blanket. I told her I’d drop by her house so that we could talk more.
It was 4 AM when I left my friend’s place, hoping that she would feel better and that her problems could somehow magically disappear.
I really, really don’t like it when my friends are upset. :(
I looked through the contents of my computer’s hard disk the other day, and came to realize that I have quite a number of photos that never got around to be shown here. So I guess I’ll start with the most recent ones, taken at Laundry Bar’s Moonshine session on Thursday. Other pictures will be put up some other time, when I’m not so shrouded with fatigue.

happy birthday to chew!Posted on Sun, September 10th, 2006 @ 9:07 pm
Yupp, this is a quick post to say,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHEW!
Or rather, Happy Barf-day… oops. More than 10 jugs of beer at Cafe Flam last night, plus Graveyard as well, I think? Chew the birthday boy was gone by 1 AM, straight on to to intoxication heaven. LoL Thanks for inviting me over, Chew. Hope you enjoyed the night despite the puking. ;)
It was good to see faces like Ah Beh and Ah Boon at Cafe Flam, people that I’d not met for a long time now. And Dan was there too. Haha, we poked fun at all sorts of people at the club. :X
I was practically out cold this afternoon, napping for a total of 5 hours. I hadn’t even realized how exhausted I was. Oh yeah, I fell asleep during You, Me and Dupree at Mid Valley on Friday night too. *yawns* It’s just one of these sleepy weekends… or maybe I just need to go to bed earlier.

where’s home?Posted on Fri, September 8th, 2006 @ 2:03 am
I looked at the time. 12:38 AM.
I was still out and I had work the next day. And yet, still no call or text message from anyone at home, demanding that I get back right that instant.
A wave of relief fluttered from my heart. Life’s getting better for me…
Now an hour later, I’m finally home. It was a nice and relaxed outing with ex-classmates from MMU, EngSeen and LeeChuan, as well as Tommy, an MMU senior. Dinner was at SS2’s One Noodle (highly recommended for their ramen noodles), then we had Heineken for dessert at Baywatch. Next stop was SS15’s Al-Rafi for drinks, and the last program of the day was pool and another round of beers at Club 7. Or is it Cafe 7 now? Hmm. Anyways yeah, it seemed to be a good night to be consuming beer. And Tommy gave me lots of good tips on playing pool, so now I’m a certified ass-kicking presence at the pool table. *phwoarrr* Haha okie, not quite there yet, but I definitely improved by a mile - I was laughable at it before this. ;) I managed to chalk a few wins tonight, but not without several handicaps and blatant guidance from Tommy. Heh heh.
I’ve been seeing more of EngSeen now that he’s moved over from Klang to Sunway. Yayy. He’s still as crazy and entertaining as ever. I caught a movie with him and LeeChuan the other night - Beneath Still Waters. We weren’t even planning on going to the cinema initially. On the way to looking for a second place to drink after sitting around Al-Rafi for a bit, we passed by Sunway Pyramid and decided to turn in and see if there were still any shows left. In the car, I’d told Seen and LC about Beneath Still Waters and when we went to check at the counter, it was the only movie remaining! Good timing. :P Go watch it if you like a good old gory zombie-like flick.
This week:
- Kaka scored a lovely solo goal in Brazil’s 3-0 victory over Argentina in a friendly match. :)
- We bid farewell to the one and only Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. :(
- We had a pizza party at the office to celebrate Nina’s and Farah’s birthdays. Dominoes is nyums. :)
- My car acquired some new minor scratches. :(
- I learned my way around OUG and Shah Alam’s industrial area. :)
- The traffic jam rose to a whole new aggravating level, and it just keeps getting worse. :(
- Welcomed a new colleague into the office. Hi Maverick. :)
- I gave some thought on moving out sometime in the near future. :(
Okies, sleep is beckoning so good night, guys. And TGIF tomorrow. :D
