This is just a post to say that I’ve been requested not to blog about a certain night with a certain bunch of people…

And therefore I will not be blogging about it.

That’s all.

:D

Awesome awesome awesome.

That’s what I’d say about the movie John Tucker Must Die.

:D

Thanks EngSeen for the special preview tickets, you have my eternal adoration now. LoL :)

If you’d ever dated a John Tucker type, this movie will definitely get you sighing, nodding, rolling your eyes, and laughing in glee. Trust me on that. *winks*

So anyone up for catching the movie? I wouldn’t say no to a second viewing… and maybe a third too…

counting the days that passed me by
Posted on Wed, October 11th, 2006 @ 5:00 pm

I’ve never really noticed it before, but I tend to do a lot of counting and list-making sometimes. It helps me to be organized and to keep track of things that would otherwise slip my mind as quick as THAT.

Last week:
- 4 movies caught at the cinema; The Devil Wears Prada, Rob-B-Hood, Zoom, and The Devil Wears Prada again. Well it was either that, or Rob-B-Hood for the 2nd time. ;) Same difference!
- 2 karaoke sessions at Galaxy; Friday night and Saturday morning/afternoon.
- Yummy dinners at Vivo, Flamin’ J, and New Paris.

And if there’s anything more to last week, and I’m sure there were, I simply can’t recall anymore. :D

photos: merdeka eve + farah’s birthday
Posted on Tue, October 10th, 2006 @ 11:37 pm

Hehe all right, I know Merdeka Eve was more than a month ago, and Farah’s birthday celebration was about a week after that… But you know what they say, better late than never, rite? ;)

Ahem. Plus there are plenty of other photos that are way more overdue, some dating back to March even. Ahahah. :X

Merdeka Eve was spent singing karaoke for 5 hours at Galaxy SS17. The superstar guest list included Sandy, Terence, Garick, and Tinkit. :D And as for Farah? She’s a colleague at work and an awesome copywriter, who also happens to be my senior at MMU. Wheeee. :)

what would you say to a tiger…. beer?
Posted on Tue, October 3rd, 2006 @ 11:56 pm

So superbly pei now.

Gotta thank LeeChuan and EngSeen for the beer session just now. 2 Guinness Stouts for the Adam King in them - rawrr - plus 3 Tigers to be shared among us, all in big high-inducing bottles.

To LC and Seen… I’m not Jessica Alba, okie. Stop laughing at me, guys! *sticks out tongue*

This post isn’t going to make much sense to anyone else, I’m afraid. Heh heh. But yeah, let’s just say it was yet another good night to get intoxicated on beer. :P Lotsa secrets were spilled out.. things that we wouldn’t have said in an ordinary conversation.. Let’s have another drinking and sharing session again soon, yeah?

I have a gazillion and two more pictures to put up. We shall see how long my laziness can sustain. ;) Just wait till I get a free hour or two at home! Nites for now. *slumps off to bed*

a familiar face
Posted on Mon, October 2nd, 2006 @ 4:28 pm

See, we’ve been friends since practically my first month as a student at MMU, four years ago. He was my best friend’s friend, then he was my classmate, and eventually we became best friends and housemates as well.

We’ve been through loads of stuff. Laughter and fiery tempers and tears, playing online chess through Yahoo Messenger, feasting on instant noodles and soft drinks at 4 AM, pillow fights, and even getting into a near-accident on the road on one highly emotional and strung-out night. I remember best of those times when he’d be washing his car at the ground floor of our apartment building, and I’d be sitting around, watching on as him and I talked lazily about anything and everything. He was usually the first to notice when I got upset. And in return, I was always there to listen when he had problems.

But eventually the friendship disintegrated. Not because we drifted apart so much so that we stopped being such good friends, and it wasn’t due to an argument or anything. To be honest, I don’t even know why it had to happen like that, but I have my guesses and I never thought of blaming him. :)

So anyway, after a long stretch of time without contact (we’re talking about nearly a year here), I got a text message from him recently, on a new number, asking how I was doing and stuff. He just signed off the message with his initials, ‘BK’, and I instantly had no doubt it was him. The strange thing was, I couldn’t send a reply back no matter how many times I tried. It always failed to go through. This was about two weeks ago, and it slowly got pushed to the back of my mind.

Until today at lunch…

I’d taken a seat at Happy Chef, this eating place near where my office is, and was on the lookout for my colleague.. when my eyes swept across a familiar face not too far away. He smiled in surprise, I waved, and he came over for a chat.

So it turned out that he was working right here at Phileo Damansara too, just a few blocks away from mine, in fact. Omg. What a crazy coincidence. Like he said, both of us could’ve been working anywhere in Malaysia, and even Klang Valley itself was pretty big, so what were the chances of us bumping into each other like this eh? And here I was the whole time, wondering how to get in touch with him… *shakes head* :D

Life’s little surprises never cease to amaze me.

And I’ll take with me the memories
To be my sunshine after the rain
It’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday

It may not be easy but I’m going to do it anyway. :)

After one month, things are getting to be okay again. Be happy for me? :)
