I guess it’s about time I update with something on my birthday, maybe some pictures and all that rite?

… Well unfortunately the modem at home got fried thanks to the super scary thunderstorm we had in Subang over the weekend… Sooo pictures will be up some other time in the (hopefully) not too distant future ya? ;) Hehe.

For my 23rd birthday, I had the same wish just like any previous year - that is to grow UP, instead of just growing old. :D

And I know I’ve been complaining a lot.. mostly about the crappy weather (both the sweltering heat and the gloomy rain).. ahahah. Sometimes life just seems too repetitious and it feels like I don’t hold any enthusiasm for anything much anymore. But heyy I’m working on it. ;) Perhaps bringing some changes and new challenges upon myself would be good. Wish me luck. :D

In the meantime, I’d like to mention the things that I am grateful for - love, and good friends. Thanks to those who made my birthday a memorable one, just by being there to celebrate with me. Gracias, merci beaucoup, danke, xie xie, kam sia, etc~ <3

When you’re having a bad day…

Probably 10 people will be able to tell from the look on your face.

And maybe 5 will guess it when they hear your voice over the phone.

But how many would actually know just from chatting online with you? Without seeing your facial expression and without listening to your tone of voice? Without you mentioning a single word about how you’re feeling?

In my case, it’s just one. In just a span of 5 minutes’ worth of chatting, this friend of mine eventually asked, “You don’t sound well today. Anything wrong?”

That caught me offguard, coz I didn’t think anyone would notice. Well, I’m thankful for having at least one friend like this. :) Thanks you, you really know me too well. Geez.

This was how Google celebrated April 1st, and it definitely got me laughing. ;)
