gotta be a good girlPosted on Thu, May 31st, 2007 @ 5:59 pm
I have to be a good girl and sit still…
1 minute more to 6 o’ clock.
After which I can go home. Yayy!
And take a nice long shower. Yayy!
And have a satisfying dinner. Yayy!
And then I can go out and party at Poppy tonight. Double yayy!

buzz in the headPosted on Mon, May 28th, 2007 @ 7:09 pm
Heyho. It’s a Monday again, and I am still recovering from a weekend of food and partying at Melaka. :D On Saturday night we celebrated Mark’s birthday at this club called Pure. There were Black Label and *gasp* Bacardi on our table, and honestly it’s hard to escape from having a drink or two when you’re with the Melaka gang. :P So yeah, I drank a bit of Bacardi before my gag reflex kicked in. I seriously felt like puking after like, 2 cups. I’m so scared of Bacardi now after the previous weekend.
Honestly though, that could be due to the fact that I was still hungover from Friday’s night out at Hartamas. We went from Laundry Bar (which was full) to Sanctuary Bar (full as well), and finally settled at Decanter’s, where they offered a free jug of beer for every 5 jugs you ordered. And that was how 3 girls and 2 guys ended up in a tipsy state, coz we tried to aim for that free jug… We surrendered and stopped after 4 jugs. I could barely walk straight on the way out - I’m so not a beer drinker. It caused nausea and more nausea for me till the next morning. Blehs. Can I please drink only orange juice the next time we go out?? :P
Still, it was a fun Friday night I guess, minus the after-effects of binge drinking. It was a funny moment when us 3 girls - me, Aileen and her friend Wendy - stood within the tiny ladies washroom and had a girls talk session, away from the ears of the guys - CheeKeat and Ryan. The topics were mostly about boyfriends and/or bastards. Heh heh. :X
I also spent some time blabbing about stuff to CheeKeat who was sitting right opposite me… Coz well, as I was telling CK, I think it’s weird how fate has a twisted sense of humor sometimes. It’s ironic how you try SO hard to avoid someone, and in the end they’re the one you happen to bump into. ;(
I could’ve waved and said hello with a fake smile. Instead I ducked my head and looked the other way. Like a friend had told me, “It’s better not to give a shit about him.” Enough said. :)
More updates to come later, if I don’t get lazy that is. :D
P.S. I didn’t really enjoy Pirates of the Carribean 3, which was too bad. Maybe the whole Jack Sparrow and “why is the rum always gone” act is getting a bit tired already.
P.P.S. Spider-Man 3 was disappointing as well, even though I did watch it 3 times. Hehe. First time was coz you HAD to watch it at least once. The second time was with friends, all of whom have not caught the movie just yet. And the third time? Well it was a free ticket and I wanted to see some faces that I’ve not met for a few months. ;)
P.P.P.S. I heard Shrek 3 was boring too. Eeks. What’s up with all the 3rd movies not being very good this year?
P.P.P.P.S. I hope Transformers will be awesomeee. Can’t wait for that one in July. :D

happy 24th birthday to rayPosted on Mon, May 21st, 2007 @ 10:23 pm
Someone is 24 years old today.
Someone who’s always a friend you can count on.
Someone who does crazy things but you’d trust him with your life nevertheless.
Someone who says “Damn sleepy wei” every single time we meet up. *slaps forehead*
Someone who has a strict diet of no food after 10pm, but is rather open to temptations anyway.
Someone who came to my rescue when my car got knocked on a rainy night.
Someone who is never tired of listening during my emo moments, and believe me when I say that I have plenty of those.
Someone who likes to gossip just like a girl, who can blend in like any other chi mui.
Someone who tends to feel “plodsy”, and he really likes “dangling things”… right, Sabs? ;)
Someone is 24 years old today, and well it’s too bad but I wish he was still in Malaysia so that I could tell him face-to-face…
Happy birthday, Ray :)

the weekend that wasPosted on Sun, May 20th, 2007 @ 9:14 pm
It’s been a weekend of sushi (Genki), gruesome movies (The Hills Have Eyes 2 and 28 Weeks Later), and a bad hangover (thanks, Bacardi Limon).
What can I say?
The Genki Sushi outlet at Cineleisure should really hire better sushi chefs. Imagine holding a piece of sushi in your chopsticks only to see the rice fall apart and crumble within seconds. But we did get a 15% discount, so that was something at least. :)
The Hills Have Eyes 2 had too many mutilated body parts in it. But the suspense level was awesome.
I thought that 28 Weeks Later was a great movie, but I’d hate to watch it a second time. Very tense and dark and sad scenes. ;(
Mystique is a new club that opened at Cineleisure, and that was where I got pwned by a bottle of Bacardi Limon. Geez. I’m still nursing a hangover as we speak.
And there goes the weekend. *yawns* Monday blues, anyone?
