christmas 2007Posted on Wed, December 26th, 2007 @ 7:42 pm
Okie this was supposed to come up yesterday but due to a lack of time… *laughs* Ta-da, a Christmas greeting on Boxing Day. :D
Hope everyone had a good celebration - I know I did! It was a nonstop flurry of fun from last weekend right till the actual day itself! :)
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Let your heart be light
From now on your troubles will be out of sight
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Make the Yuletide gay
From now on your troubles will be miles away
Here we are as in olden days
Happy golden days of yore
Faithful friends who are dear to us
They gather near to us once more
Through the years we all will be together and
If the fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bow
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now
Faithful friends who are dear to us
They gather near to us once more
Through the years we all will be together and
If the fates allow
But ’til then we’ll have to muddle through somehow
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now
P.S. Lord, happy birthday to Your Son! :)

blue sky holiday ‘07Posted on Fri, December 21st, 2007 @ 7:24 pm
I spent last weekend at Bagan Lalang (it’s somewhere close to Sepang) with the family, and I definitely was well-rested. Who wouldn’t help feeling tranquil at the sight of a quaint little beach like this? :)
This weekend I’ll be off to another (much bigger) beach, along with some of my favourite people. So excited! Hehe. Call it my escapade for the year 2007 - better late than never. ;)
Will update again when I get back. Take care and have a good weekend, everyone. <3

happy birthday to ivan ‘07Posted on Tue, December 11th, 2007 @ 9:09 pm
Okie so I just remembered that I’ve never really wished Mr Ivan Fong a happy birthday on my blog before.
But he, on the other hand, had oh so thoughtfully written a birthday shoutout for me last year, on my own blog here no less! :”> Oops, so shy haha.
Anyways, this year I shall not forget! So here we go:
Happy funtastic birthday #25 to Ivan
aka (Self-Proclaimed) Nicest Guy In The World
aka Budak Mengada :D
Heyy, I don’t just call anyone budak mengada all rite. ;) Mwahaha.

a day of beach and seafoodPosted on Thu, December 6th, 2007 @ 1:54 am
Two weekends ago, I went on a road trip with some high school mates, and it was tons of fun.
It’s not easy to find people who are up for road trips, coz there’s always gonna be issues with transportation, committing an entire day to it, and just plain “isn’t it going to be uncomfortable to be stuck in the car for such a long stretch of time?!”. But not with the Subang gang apparently, coz everyone was excited to go right from the start. :D
The initial plan was to go for a seafood meal at Tanjung Sepat, but since it was close to the beach we decided to hit the sands for a bit first before filling up our tummies. :P
The only thing that disrupted our journey were these two teenage fucktards idiots on a bike who tailed both our cars once we were nearing Tanjung Sepat, and they tried to cause trouble by splashing oil from a container they had onto SzeJian’s brand new Honda Civic. Don’t these small town folks have better things to do?! Geez. And actually they first tried to do something to Aaron’s car, where I was in with Wai Mun and Pooi Lum - but when they saw Mun’s large frame occupying the front passenger seat, the kids changed their minds and decided to go for Sze Jian’s car instead which was right behind us. It was scary since we were in their territory, but at the same time we were so pissed off we wanted to just tip those two troublemakers off their bike! Luckily they left us alone after both our cars did a U-turn to shake them off. Pfft. Good riddance.
Anyways, on to nicer things… We hung out at the Morib beach - got ourselves a kite to play with, went to dip our legs in the sea, messed around with the sand, and someone even climbed up a tree. LoL I’ll let the pictures do the talking. Oh, we didn’t snap any photos of the lovely seafood dinner we had at Tanjung Sepat coz everyone was too hungry so we dug in right away. :D

Our RM3 kite flying high and proud, whee!

The kite spectators - ShirLi, Darren, Mun, Aaron, me, CheeKeat (look at our funny expressions, LoL)

Bet you didn’t know that a babi could climb trees!

ShirLi and Mun the water babies

Me and my bickering buddy Pooi

This picture cracks me up, hahaha. Everyone was hard at work burying Mun’s legs in the sand… for no particular reason!

dental torturePosted on Mon, December 3rd, 2007 @ 9:14 pm
Pulling out a wisdom tooth is as bad as the horror stories you hear - it’s excruciatingly painful, you feel every crack and twist and turn even though you’ve been jabbed with anaesthetics… And of course there’s all the blood after that…!
So imagine my poor ordeal of having to extract two wisdom teeth at one go - me and pain just don’t get along at all. :( I’m seriously traumatized for life. I don’t wanna go through it again, ever! But since I’ve only gotten it done for my right side, someday I’ll have to go back and remove the wisdom teeth on my left side too. *sobs*
Good thing though, after all the trauma of dental surgery last Thursday afternoon, I got to go watch Enchanted that night. :D :D I’ve been wanting to catch that movie since first seeing its trailer. So yeahh, that was a pretty good remedy, I have to say. ;) And I was lucky that my cheek wasn’t super swollen, so I was able to go out in public sooner than I thought. LoL
And now being the 4th day already since the surgery, I’ve been trying to get by without popping the painkillers. It’s not easy though, the wound of the bottom tooth still hurts somewhat. And I’ve missed eating rice! I’m only surviving on porridge for the first day and then noodles till now. Hmphh.
So troublesome, all this wisdom teeth extraction business. Tsk tsk.
