Are you too forgiving?: I think so. Someone once remarked that I can never stay mad at a person for more than 3 days, which is pretty true in most cases. Holding onto anger is really exhausting anyway.

Favourite drinks: Jasmine tea, jasmine tea, and jasmine tea. Fruit juices and Starbucks’s Tazo Zen tea are good too. I shall not mention any alcoholic drinks :X

Favourite breakfast: Scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon ham, baked beans, hash brown, pancakes, french toast. Something more Asian would be Hong Kong chee cheong fun, dim sum (especially the century egg porridge!), roti telur, nasi lemak… etc etc. Please don’t get me started on the topic of food, it’ll never end.

Fallen asleep at school: Funnily enough, not even once. At work? That’s a different story.. :P

Fell off your chair: It happens from time to time, especially when laughing, ahahah.

Have you ever crawled through a window?: Just last month, we crawled through a bedroom window to sit at the spacious ledge outside, bringing along smokes and drinks. It was only the third floor so it wasn’t too scary.

Have you ever been on a plane? Sure. But the last time was a few years ago, during the trip to Perhentian island with MMU people.

So I’m supposed to be in Ipoh this weekend for Wayne’s wedding dinner… but I’m not. What happened was, my ride couldn’t drive up to Ipoh at the last minute coz there was a fire in their office and they had to take care of it. Shit happens eh. Thank God no one was injured though, which is the most important thing :) Oddly enough, there were quite a number of us who couldn’t make it for the wedding in the end due to one reason or another.

Anyway, here’s a hearty CONGRATULATIONS to Mr and Mrs Wayne Lim on the wonderful occasion :D

Today I ended up going hiking at Gasing Hill, and I was walking in the rain for half of the journey. Darn Malaysia and its unpredictable weather! Later on I brought my car to the tyre shop coz I had a, ermm, minor accident the other night. Let’s just say I left some marks on a curb somewhere in USJ… ahahah. :X Garick was laughing nonstop when HanRen (who was the unfortunate passenger with me at the time LoL) related the story to him. Eesh. No sympathy whatsoever. :P

So yeahh. Last night Garick and HanRen took turns to drive my car and they both said I’d better check on the alignment and balancing asap. Good thing everything’s fixed now. Poor Ricardo (that’s the name of my car :P), he’s been through quite a bit and he’s only 2 years old. *pats*

The next stop after the tyre shop was Mid Valley. Upon reaching, I called up Brian and the conversation went something like this.

Me: Hey I’m here already. Where should I meet you?”
Brian: I’m at Gardens… I’ll go over to look for you. Where are you?”
Me: I’m near Harvey Norman.
Brian: Uhh I’m not sure where that is.
Me: Oh let’s just meet at Topshop then.
Brian: Haha okay!

If there’s one place he would know for sure, it has to be Topshop. ;)

So we walked around while waiting for Kristen and Jasmine to pick up Maverick at KL Sentral, who’s back from his Hong Kong trip, woots! :D It’s good to have him back. At least there’s someone for me to poke fun at again now, ahahah.

Dinner was at Spaghetti Grill - the ravioli I had was so-so. Their fruit juices could use some syrup, everything was so sour. The 5 of us then hung out at Chawan in Bangsar before calling it a night. And now here I am, still wide awake no thanks to the coffee + tea drink I had at Chawan :P

Shoutout to Chris, who’s a bigger night owl than me and probably reading this right now.. LoL *waves* You should’ve come tonight! Please choose a better time to fall sick next time k ;)

Happy 27th Birthday to Gallen aka SCG on the 22nd of September!
We’ve definitely come a long way… It’s not always easy to maintain the friendship but hey, someone’s gotta do the dirty job eh, sigh :P Cheers to crazy driving antics, the 1.30AM mamak sessions, hilarious email chats at work, evil laughter, emo episodes, syok sendiri-ness, and everything else in between!

Justin! He was 3 hours late and had to be picked up at Hartamas coz he, in a very typical Justin manner, lost his way en route to Mont Kiara.. ahahah

Shaun, Jacklyn, Katherine. We ended the night at Somo with some Merlot wine :) Everyone went home tipsy happy, pheww. Who knew it could be so hard to plan a birthday celebration… Well I know now ;)

Happy Monday blues, guys… I’m back from the Melaka trip! We did all the tourist-like stuff, going to the usual attractions like the A Famosa, Stadhuys building, Jonker Walk, and had our dinner at the Portuguese Settlement.

Oh, and we even shopped at the Dataran Pahlawan mall. Not surprisingly, the first thing that Jasmine, Maverick, Chris and Brian said when we stepped in was, “Do they have Topshop and Topman here??” :P These people are total hardcore fans of the British labels, ahahah.

It took us probably 2 hours just to locate a hotel with vacant rooms - everywhere seemed to be fully booked on that Saturday night, arghh. During the later part of the night, we watched The Love Guru on Mave’s Macbook halfway through before deciding the movie was really not that good (though it was fun to see familiar faces in the flick like Jessica Alba, Justin Timberlake, Jessica Simpson, Val Kilmer… Were there more? We didn’t finish the movie so we’ll never know :P). Mave then had this crazy idea of us going for a smoke at 5AM and he actually set the alarm. But when 5AM came around, everyone just yelled at Mave to turn off the alarm so that we could go back to sleep! And we were fed with vodka + VeGood vegetable and fruit juice by Mave first thing when we woke up in the morning. LoL There were no emo questions from Brian this time, but he did ask Jas something and after that they wouldn’t say what, coz apparently it would embarrass both of them plus Mave! (To this, Chris and I said “oh if it’s only going to embarrass the three of you, we don’t mind hearing it then” but Brian and Jas still refused to spill.) Erm right, so that was that haha. Such a weird, surreal and colorful trip. Thanks for a memorable weekend, guys. :)

Oh hey, did you know that for the past like 10-15 posts or so, the titles of my entries are all derived from some song or other? Yeahh. :) This current post is no different. Can anyone guess what songlyrics is this? Here’s a hint - it’s from the soundtrack of a favorite movie of mine which stars my favorite bad boy, Mr Edison Chen. ;)

I really should start packing for the weekend getaway trip to Melaka. But then again we’re only gonna leave at 3pm tomorrow, so last minute packing would be fine I guess. :P I shall be spending the weekend with the shiny happy people who are always up for a good time and some laughs. Excitement. And it’s all thanks to my dear ex-colleague Maverick who roped me into the group haha. Ahh Mave, we always do have fun, don’t we? Even with the most ordinary stuff….

Ahahah so yeahh, basically there’ll be lotsa music skipping moments (this happened too during our recent waterfall trip - they couldn’t just let a song finish, someone would inevitably change the track on the Ipod every other minute!!), no food wastage which shouldn’t be a problem coz Jasmine and Mave are excellent food dumpster machines, and we shall talk bad about those uncool ones who aren’t coming with us i.e. Kristen. LoL :X Chris and Mave will probably argue over the whole Canon versus Nikon DSLR issue as per usual. And let’s hope Brian doesn’t get emo again and ask lotsa deep hypothetical questions about boy-girl relationships. But if it does happen I guess we’ll just layan anyway. Teehee.
